The replica watches I will be reviewing is a Panerai produced by the VS factory. Unfortunately, this factory is currently closed and not accepting orders, and I’m unsure when they will reopen. Thankfully, their closure was a voluntary decision rather than enforced by any authorities. I believe that VS won’t be able to resume operations in the near future, as I’ve heard that several suppliers of watch parts for the VS factory have been raided. This shortage of components is the primary reason why both Noob and VS factories are unable to take orders at the moment.
The PAM 1663 from the VS factory is a high-quality replica watch, even though it’s not to my personal taste. Modern Panerai watches seem to be increasingly unconventional, with many opting for new materials like carbotech or a fusion of carbon and ceramic. While these designs appear more fashionable, I feel they lack the classic elements found in older PAM models. For instance, the PAM 1663 features a solid titanium case paired with a forged carbon bezel, which I don’t find appealing; it’s not my style. The titanium case also has unique patterns resembling carbon, which I find odd. Nevertheless, this design approach has been adopted by Panerai in recent years. The watch has a case diameter of 44mm and a thickness of 14.5mm, making it relatively slim. Additionally, due to the special case material, it feels very lightweight when worn.
Another key feature of this replica is its movement, which is the super clone P.9010 developed by the VS factory. This is considered one of the best clone movements for tjhis replica Panerai watches. The VS factory has also created other notable movements, such as the super clone P.9000 and P.999. I’m uncertain if other watch factories will be able to produce replica Panerai movements of such high quality in the future. The case thickness of this watch is very similar to that of genuine Panerai models, which I believe can be largely attributed to the use of this super clone movement.
I hope the VS factory returns to us soon, as there are many new replica watches models set to be released.
